Head Spa in Norman — The Guide
Why LŪK for a head spa
in Norman.
LŪK House of Beauty is the only salon in Norman, Oklahoma offering both the Kérastase Chronologiste Head Spa and the ARETE Alchemic Detox Head Spa. Each is a 60-to-90-minute scalp ritual — analysis, treatment, steam, and a full acupressure massage — built to restore the scalp the way a facial restores skin. Available by appointment, and as a monthly membership.
Kérastase Chronologiste
An anti-ageing ritual from French haircare science. Scalp analysis, then the Chronologiste Pro-Xylane complex at the follicle, a Masque Noir deep treatment layered with Perles Concentré de Vitalité under steam, and a closing acupressure massage. Offered in Signature, Express, and Luxury lengths.
ARETE Alchemic Detox
A clean-ingredient scalp reset. Micro-exfoliation lifts buildup, sebum, and residue; a botanical herbal wash draws out impurities; the midnight jade gua sha comb massage improves circulation; a botanical bond-repair application finishes the strand root to tip.
Who it is for
Product buildup or congestion. Oily roots, or persistent dryness and flaking. Sensitivity and irritation. Slower-than-normal growth. Guests maintaining colour or extensions, where a clean scalp extends the life of both. Anyone who wants the first real scalp care of their life.
Looking for a Japanese head spa?
The Japanese head spa — the long water massage, the scalp detox, the trance-level relaxation — is the version most guests have seen trending. The House ritual is the same idea with a different passport: Kérastase's French follicle science or ARETE's clean botanicals in place of Japanese styling, with the steam, the scalp work, and the full acupressure massage intact. If a Japanese head spa is what brought you here, book the Chronologiste and tell the House what you are after — the analysis will shape the ritual around it.
As a membership
Both rituals are available once or twice a month on a House membership — one a month from $150, two a month from $295 — booked through Boulevard. Most members pair a head spa with their blowout cadence.
Questions we hear most
What is a head spa?
A professional scalp-care service combining targeted massage, treatment product, and deep conditioning to restore scalp health and hair quality from the root. At LŪK it runs 60 to 90 minutes and closes with a full acupressure massage.
Is this a Japanese head spa?
Not by lineage — the House rituals are French (Kérastase Chronologiste) and clean-botanical (ARETE), not Japanese. What draws people to the Japanese version — the steam, the scalp detox, the long massage, leaving lighter than you arrived — is all here; the science behind it differs. Guests who came in searching for a Japanese head spa book the Chronologiste.
Kérastase or ARETE — which should I book?
Chronologiste if your hair feels depleted, dull, or ageing and you want luxury conditioning with the scalp work. ARETE if your scalp is congested, oily, flaky, or sensitive and you want a clean-ingredient detox. Unsure? Book either and the House will switch you if the analysis says so.
How often should I get one?
Monthly is the House recommendation for ongoing scalp health, which is why both rituals are offered as one- and two-a-month memberships. A single session is a strong reset after colour or extension work.
How much does a head spa cost?
Single rituals are quoted on the Boulevard menu by length — Express, Signature, Luxury. Memberships are $150 a month for one ritual or $295 for two. Call (405) 516-1515 for a single-visit price.
Will it help hair growth?
A clean, stimulated scalp is the condition hair needs to grow well; the massage and exfoliation are built for circulation and clearing the follicle. It is scalp care, not a medical treatment — for hair loss, see a dermatologist first.
Can I get a head spa with colour or extensions?
Yes, and the House recommends it. A clean scalp helps colour take evenly and keeps extension rows comfortable. Book it before a colour service or as its own visit between them.
